Christy Stevens

Transfer Specialist

Christy Stevens, is a licensed insurance agent, helps clients move their funds from their old accounts into new protected and more accessible options we help them set up. She also follows up with transfer companies to ensure there are no issues when moving clients’ funds, and to answer clients’ questions about their accounts. Meeting and helping new people is what makes her work fulfilling. She also loves to learn new things, and this job was an opportunity to do just that, while also using the knowledge she already had in a new way. She has an Associate of Arts Degree, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and holds her life insurance license. She has previously worked as a nurse, a hospital floor secretary, and a patient care tech. She is a single mother to her son, and also has a dog named Mavi. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her son, as well as riding motorcycles or, when able, helping raise funds for disabled vets with the CVMA (Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association).

Kathryn Ivanovich

Kathryn Ivanovich

Receptionist

Kathryn Ivanovich is our receptionist. She not only greets clients as they come into our office, but prepares seminar materials, reaches out to clients and potential clients about scheduling, and confirms appointments. She enjoys meeting new people and learning new skills; having different people with different backgrounds come through is exciting for her, and being able to meet a variety of people. Kathryn also enjoys the more laid-back atmosphere of the office and appreciates the effort we put into educating clients and making them feel welcome.

She attended Florida Gulf Coast University and graduated in May 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, with a focus in Osteology. Prior to working here, she worked as an archaeologist for a private CRM firm in Florida. The work she did involved traveling around the state to conduct archaeological fieldwork. Kathryn decided to take her job with us because it was something new. Having never worked in an office before, the change was a significant shift. Although it’s very different from her previous job, she finds it to be a refreshing change of pace.

Kathryn lives in Raleigh, NC, with her husband, Shawn (and her dogs, Finnegan and Tank). When not working, Kathryn enjoys spending time hiking with her dogs, playing video games, or playing trivia at breweries with her friends.

Or, if there’s a charity you think needs our support, you could reach out to us about that, too.
