Roy Leigh Ray III
Roy Leigh Ray III is a life and health insurance agent, LTC insurance agent, P&C insurance agent, and Series 65. Roy stands out among other agents like him for how he cares for his clients; to him, clients aren’t just another number. He does his best to look out for the best interests of every single one of them. He began working in the financial services industry when he got a job at the Transamerica Corporation to support his family. Years later, he can’t envision himself doing anything else. When Roy isn’t kept busy with his work, he’s usually with his family. He and his wife, Jennifer, have four kids; Roy Leigh IV (17), Elizabeth (14), Natalie (10), and Vivian (8). In Roy’s free time, he enjoys going fishing on the coast, playing music, and restoring classic cars. Also, Roy has two cats, Garfield and Nermal.
Christy Stevens
Christy Stevens holds the title of transfer specialist with Strategic Retirement Solutions. She helps new and pending clients move their funds from their old accounts into the new options we help them set up. She also follows up with transfer companies to ensure there are no issues when moving clients’ funds, and helps answer clients’ questions about their accounts. Meeting and helping new people is what makes her work fulfilling. She also loves to learn new things, and this job was an opportunity to do just that, while also using the knowledge she already had in a new way. She has an Associate of Arts Degree, an Associate Degree in nursing, and holds a life insurance license. She has previously worked as a nurse, a hospital floor secretary, and a patient care tech. She is a single mother to her son, and also has a dog named Mavi. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her child, as well as riding motorcycles or, when able, helping raise funds for disabled vets with the CVMA (Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association).
Abigail Flanagan
Abigail Flanagan is our Client Services Manager at Strategic Retirement Solutions. Once a client chooses to work with us, Abigail is responsible for helping them with any needs going forward; everything from annual reviews, to new policy signing scheduling, updates or withdrawals, etc. Anything our clients need. She loves the feeling of making a small difference in our clients’ lives, helping them get through their retirement years with minimal stress. She graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a Business Event Management degree. She used to work in the event planning industry (weddings), which led her to understand the importance of keeping things organized and as perfect as possible for the clients she assists. Abigail is always ready to give a helping hand, and always enjoys the chance to make other people smile. When not working, she loves curling up with a good book, crafting/sewing projects, visiting historical places, or hanging out with her family and friends at ye olde Renaissance fair.
Kaley Coward
Kaley Coward is the Office Manager at Strategic Retirement Solutions. She ensures that everyone is up to date with their responsibilities and helps them complete tasks. She has also managed a locally-owned Italian restaurant for over eight years, but decided to begin working with us as an opportunity to do something new. Additionally, she likes to meet new people, such as the clients we work with. When not working, Kaley enjoys traveling, going to local events, or hiking with her dog, a pit bull named Dolly.
Emily Riddle
Emily Riddle is the Event Manager with Strategic Retirement Solutions. She coordinates and hosts events for our clients and prospective clients. She also helps track and maintain records of our events. Emily enjoys meeting new people and getting to know them, which helps her better understand what we can do to best help them. She took this position in order to help others and make use of her talents. Emily is there for people when they need her most and has no problem speaking her mind. She spends her free time with her friends, traveling, or going on hikes with her dog, a pitbull named Clio.
